Located in Concord, NH., PrimeMLS (formely known as NEREN) provides coverage across New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and some portions of New York. The ever-growing MLS gained even more traction in 2015 when they announced a partnership with Realtors Property Resource, LLC. PrimeMLS proudly serves members by providing them with access to area listings, continued education, and market resources. PrimeMLS was previously known as Northern New England Real Estate Network (NEREN).

What are the requirements for primary membership in the MLS and IDX?
PrimeMLS follows the NARs Qualification for MLS Participation and IDX:
Participants must be REALTORS® who are a principal, partner, corporate officer, or branch office manager acting on behalf of a principal.
Participants must hold a current, valid real estate broker’s license.
Participants must offer or accept compensation to and from other participants (or be licensed or certified by a state regulatory agency to engage in the appraisal of real property).
Participants (other than appraisers) must actively—continually and on an ongoing basis—endeavor to: a. list real property of the type listed on the MLS in which participation is sought and/or, b. accept offers of cooperation and compensation made by listing brokers in the MLS.

New England comprises six states in the Northeastern United States, including the PrimeMLS’s home base, New Hampshire. The largest metropolitan area in the New England region is the Greater Boston area, making up about a third of the New England population and 80% of the Massachusetts population. The Greater Boston population is about 8,285,407, and the principal city of Boston itself makes up about 685,094 of that number. The highest point in New England is Mount Washington at about 6,288 feet, and the lowest point is the Atlantic Ocean at sea level.
Known as the “birthplace of America”, New England is full of rich history, scenic architecture, and vast outdoor beauty. White sand beaches and lighthouses line the coast, bringing an abundance of fresh seafood and dockside attractions. Cape Cod in Massachusetts is among one of the most-loved beaches and biggest tourist spots in the northeast. New England is the birthplace of several internationally-loved sports including basketball, volleyball, and American Football. Aside from the typical sport, New England also offers many opportunities for rowing, sailing, and winter sports such as ice hockey and snowboarding. From Harvard College in Massachusetts to Yale in Connecticut to Brown University in Rhode Island, New England contains some of the longest-established and most well-respected universities in the country. As one of the first English settlements in America, home of the infamous Salem Witch Trials, and the beginning of America’s Industrial Revolution, New England holds extensive history and has museums and historical sites galore to show for it. From the beautiful beaches to historic architecture and everything in between, New England has a lot to offer.
The climate throughout New England varies greatly from top to bottom, although the entire area experiences a fair amount of humidity. The summer high up in Maine is around 78°F, and the winter low can fall to a chilly 7°F. Maine sees an average of 75 inches of snowfall annually and 46 inches of rain. Down in Connecticut, the summer high is around 83°F, while the low is about 18°F. Connecticut sees an average of 50 inches of rain per year and 37 inches of snowfall.
