South Broward Board of Realtors came to be when Greater Fort Lauderdale Realtors (GFLR) merged with Realtors of the Palm Beaches (ROPB) in 2017, thus creating the third-largest association of its kind in the United States. Realtors® in Palm Beach, Broward and St. Lucie Counties is the parent association for GFLR and ROPB. Based in Fort Lauderdale, the bi-county MLS now serves over 30,000 subscribers, with over 40,000 market listings across South Florida. The combined realtor association has a mission to deliver each member unique knowledge, tools, and support to keep them one step ahead in the real estate industry.

They display reports as snapshots and infographics on their website divided by county and presented in various languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese). 

What external sites receive MLS data?

What types of MLS memberships does Beaches MLS offer?

Beaches MLS offers the following membership options:

Realtor Primary Broker: Applicants can choose one of these options, Primary Appraiser, Primary County Appraiser, or Primary Designated Realtor.

Realtor Primary Agent: can complete this form. Beaches MLS also offers a Secondary Membership option.

What are the requirements for primary membership in the MLS and IDX?

Beaches MLS follows the NAR Qualification for MLS Participation and IDX.

Must a Realtor or agent be licensed in the state as a condition of Beaches MLS participation?

Yes. Beaches MLS’ Rules and Regulations establish on its article II: “Under no circumstances is any individual or firm, regardless of membership status, entitled to multiple listing service “membership” or “participation” unless they hold a current, valid real estate broker’s license and offer or accept compensation to and from other participants or are licensed or certified by an appropriate state regulatory agency to engage in the appraisal of real property.”

Fort Lauderdale is a principal city in the Greater Miami Metropolitan Statistical Area, with a population of 182,437. The Southern Florida MSA, as a whole, extends to 120 miles of coastline and has a population of about 6,198,782. The Greater Miami Metropolitan Area is the second largest in Florida and the seventh largest in the United States. The highest point in the state is Lakewood Park, which is just 345 feet above sea level, and the lowest point is where the shore meets the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico.
