This week, we moved into a bigger and better office space that’s only a 5-minute drive away from the previous space in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward. The ability to stand out in an increasingly competitive market is a challenge. What can you do to compete online? Our new content series will be focusing on the unique value that a real estate website gives you and how to get the most out of it. Just having a website isn’t going to get you too far. It’s like having a car but not putting gas in it. If you don’t invest even a little bit of time and money, you’ll probably not get the most of it. We’ve been a beta integration with Zapier for years, but we’re happy to announce that we are now full integration partners. This will allow you to do more with Zapier and Showcase IDX to instantly connect Showcase IDX lead data with over 1,000 apps to automate lead and message distribution and be more productive with your lead data. You’ll be able to have a simple IDX integration with LionDesk, Follow Up Boss, Realvolve, Bomb Bomb, Contactually, Wise Agent, Salesforce, Hubspot, Mailchimp and Gmail. We’re happy to announce a couple of new widgets that you can use on your websites to extend the integration with Showcase IDX onto any page. We’re looking forward to seeing how creatively our customers will use these on their websites. Each of these new widgets can be created in the Agent Admin: Admin>Select a website>Settings>Shortcodes. A Showcase IDX WordPress plugin update to Version 3.0.41 is required in order for these new widgets to work. Follow for real estate tips and tactics:
Photo: Kelly Heck Recently, we’ve been busy expanding our engineering team and we’re very happy to announce Scott Davis as Showcase IDX’s newest in-house software engineer. He is our first Showcase IDX team member that is not located in Atlanta full time. Scott calls 200 acres of farmland in Maryland home. Prior to Showcase IDX Scott has worked with a wide range of companies and organizations, from Tourbuzz (A management platform for real estate photographers) to NASA. Yes, that NASA. He didn’t fly any of the the shuttles, but he did work on Hubble Space Telescope. Scott has over 16 years of software development under his belt, specializing in highly-scalable software architecture and team leadership. In his free time, he enjoys wood and metal working, robotics, studying algorithms, and working with Elixir. We’re excited to introduce the newest member of our team, Josh Sandlin. Josh will be joining our development team as a backend engineer. He will be working on the technology behind the scenes that makes Showcase IDX tick and working to ensure that the technology scales smoothly as we continue our growth. Josh has a strong technical background, including stints at both startup and enterprise companies. Notably, he spent some formative years at Adult Swim which is a division of Turner/Time Warner. At Turner, Josh contributed to an impressive array projects from front-end, back-end, to DevOps assignments. In Josh’s spare time, he enjoys playing with the cats at Java Cats Cafe and is on a quest to catch all of the Pokemon in Atlanta‘s Piedmont Park. Today, Showcase IDX has released some new updates and improvements to how it handles Google Analytics and in particular how Showcase IDX works with Google Tag Manager within WordPress. To ensure that all page views and conversions are counted and sent to Google, we now have a new setting within the SEO Settings for your Google Analytics Tracking Code ID (UA Code). Today, Showcase IDX, an Atlanta-based real estate technology company that provides IDX home search and consumer engagement tools for WordPress to real estate agents, teams, and brokers has successfully closed its first-ever round of investment from a private equity source. Specific terms of this investment will remain private. For over 12 years, Showcase IDX has been self-funded and its growth bootstrapped through increases in its revenue. This investment represents a significant amount of capital that the company will use to continue to innovate and address the current and future needs of real estate agents, teams, and brokers. Showcase IDX has launched a fully updated (rebuilt from scratch) and significantly improved version of our automated IDX listing page XML Sitemaps for Google Search Console.
