On a day-to-day basis, it will be business as usual, and will not impact your account or the agreement we have in place with you. However, you will see big improvements in the product. We are immediately hiring more talent to the development team, and have already added an experienced MLS data team overnight, along with significantly deeper capabilities to continue building the most innovative and useful home search experiences in the industry.

Q: What was announced and what does it mean?
Showcase IDX has been acquired by eXp World Holdings, Inc. Showcase IDX is now one of eXp World Holdings’ portfolio companies. Showcase IDX remains a standalone independent company, but following the closing, will be owned by eXp World Holdings who also own eXp Realty and Virbela.
Showcase IDX will not be owned by eXp Realty. Q: What does this mean for Showcase IDX customers?
On a day-to-day basis, it’s business as usual, and will not impact your IDX account, support, data privacy, or much else that we can think of. That doesn’t mean there’s not going to be improvements. The first immediate difference is that we will have access to new resources to continue building innovative home search experiences, much faster than we ever could previously.
One of the shared frustrations we have with our customers has been not being able to move faster and build out the platform the way we have envisioned due to resource constraints. We’ll be addressing this by adding resources to our development team, as well as leveraging eXp technical teams over the coming weeks and months. Expect to hear more from us on this in the near future.
Existing and future customers of Showcase IDX will be able to continue using the platform, and, as always, customers own their data and contacts, and these will never be shared with eXp. We’ve always protected your data and will continue to do that. Keep reading for more details.
Q: Who can see and access my data? What will happen to my data/my teams’ data?
Your information is yours. Your contacts are never shared with anyone. The details you provide for contacts are not shared with others who may have the same contact. Showcase IDX support & engineering staff may only access information for support reasons, with permission. Q: Is this good for Showcase IDX and its customers?
Yes! This new arrangement gives Showcase IDX much needed new resources right out of the gate, which is good for everyone concerned.
We have big plans to expand your product offering, and this was even included in the announcement.

We know that some of you may have concerns that we’re owned by the same company that owns a competitor to your brokerage… but we have commitments up front from eXp that we will never misuse your data or share lead information with eXp Realty or anyone else. We already provide services to competitors in your market, and we have a proven track record of doing the right thing. This can also be seen in our written agreements and our Trust & Transparency center.
Q: How does this affect Showcase IDX future plans?
We have some big ideas and a vision that’s shared by the eXp World Holdings’ leadership team about how we can help agents meaningfully connect with consumers. This work will have overlap, and should benefit, our current and future IDX customers.

Q: Will this change affect my pricing or contract with Showcase IDX?
No, your current price will remain the same for the foreseeable future. If there are any changes, you will be given plenty of notice. We may introduce updated contracts in the future that includes additional language around protecting your rights and data. Learn more here.
Q: Will there be any changes to the current support team and level of service?
Our support team and resources will remain the same within the Showcase IDX team, providing a consistently high level of support, while looking to increase our capacity and ability to resolve issues faster over time.
If you work with Showcase IDX through one of our Certified Partners, you will continue to work with them directly on any support issues. We will continue to support each of our partners and you.

Q: What does this mean for Showcase IDX reseller partners?
It means the Showcase IDX product that you provide to your clients will be getting better. We know that we provide the IDX engine but you provide the website and wider marketing solutions agents rely on. Q: Will you continue to add new Showcase IDX reseller partners?

Q: Will there be any leadership or staffing changes at Showcase IDX?
The entire team, including the leadership team will remain in place as it is a key reason for the acquisition. Being able to bring our ability to build profitable products that agents value, along with our deep experience with real estate consumers, agents, brokerages and the industry has made us a great fit for eXp.
As far as staffing changes, one thing we can say is that we will be growing our development and product team over the next weeks and months.
Q: What should eXp Realty agents already using Showcase IDX do?
Nothing day-to-day changes… for now. Showcase IDX will continue to be supported by our team, if you have questions or issues, and not the eXp tech support team.
Showcase IDX is not included in the eXp Realty technology fee. We may re-evaluate this in the future, but for now, you will continue under your current Showcase IDX agreement.
Q: I am an existing eXp Realty agent or contemplating joining eXp Realty; will I get access to Showcase IDX?
Showcase IDX will remain an independent company, and will not be part of eXp Realty, as such, we welcome eXp agents and teams to sign up with us directly, but it will not be part of your current monthly tech fee. Stay tuned for future updates.

Q: Will Showcase IDX maintain their own online presence?
Yes, showcaseidx.com and our social media presence across platforms, including our customer user groups, will continue to operate.
Q: Will eXp World Holdings or any eXp company see my private (PII) lead data and contacts?
Data from Showcase IDX products is stored on a separate cloud server platform that is not accessible to the eXp teams. It’s also our long-standing policy to never sell, give, or trade your data to other companies — even in the case of third-party partnerships — without your consent or knowledge. It’s not how we roll. Q: Will I be recruited by eXp Realty agents?
No! As a customer of Showcase IDX, we will not share your personal information with eXp agents for recruiting purposes.
Q: How do I export my lead data?
You have several options to export. Navigate to your Contacts, and click on the blue button in the top right labeled “Export CSV.”
You can also use a free Zapier integration to send all new leads captured on your website to 1,000s of different apps, such as Google Sheets, ActiveCampaign, and many others. Here is a guide to walk you through that.
Q: How long will Showcase IDX continue to support individual users and the product?
Individual users will be able to continue to use Showcase IDX for the foreseeable future. We also plan to continue to update, improve, and support the product.
